Roopkund trek 

Uttarakhand has numerous exciting places, one of them being a mysterious lake named Roopkund which is located in the Chamoli district. It has an altitude of 5,029m and 16,499 feet above the level sea. It is one of the most beautiful as well as the most popular treks which offer magnificent scenery. The best time to visit the trek is from the end of May to October. The trek is 24km from the wan village of Chamoli. It is 2 metres deep, and there is a thick layer of snow around the sides.  This trek ranges in complexity from easy to moderate. The bones are thought to be those of 300 persons who perished 500–600 years ago. And some other people believe that their remains are General Zorawar’s soldiers skeletons who died during the vain attempt to conquer tibet. And there are also other people who believed in other stories, hence the mystery of skeleton lake always remain mysterious.

 

  • Deo Tibba Trek

Deo tibba trek is an attractive trek for all age groups with moderate to difficult levels. It is a trek for 6 days with an altitude of 14,000 feet. It is a 37km trekking route journey along an imposing hypnotizing view of Deo tibba Indrasan peak, and inderkila peak along with the glaciers and mini Chandratal lake, the emerald blue water lake at its foot. According to Hindu mythology, the dome-shaped Deo tibba is the heavenly throne of Lord Indra. It has diverse flora and fauna which make the trek more beautiful.  It is throng with medicinal herbs which cure fever, stomach ache, and even stinky feet. Sar refers to Lake and Sar pass means you have to pass by the glacial Lake “sar”. It is the perfect trek for beginners. This trek is a 6 days easy trek of 48km with moderate to difficult levels. It starts from Kasol and ends in Barshaini in Kullu valley. The best time to visit is in the season of May October in Himachal Pradesh. The highlight of this trek is the small frozen lake and the slope from the pass is the funniest part of the trek as you slide down almost 1km.

Sar Pass Trek – Located in Himachal Pradesh’s Kulu district, the Sar Pass is roughly 13,580 feet above sea level.
